Tiled or single watermark — which should I use?
A tiled watermark repeats across the whole image and is hard to crop out, making it the best choice for theft protection. A single watermark in a corner is subtler and better for branding or attribution.
What settings make a watermark effective but unobtrusive?
Use a low opacity (10%–30%) and a moderate size. For tiled watermarks, an angle of -30° or -45° with a spacing of 2–3× covers the image evenly without overwhelming it.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. All rendering runs locally in your browser. Your files never leave your device.
Can I use an iPhone HEIC or HEIF photo?
Yes. HEIC and HEIF photos are decoded locally in supported modern browsers and exported as JPG, PNG or WebP.
